Hello, There are different areas where you can use your skills and knowledge in this company as well as learn some new areas. My work is involved with European machinery makers and starts from communication to contract negotiation once Matec management made a decision to buy some machinery for recycling processes. Once such decision is made, usually we go to Europe for the exhibition where we meet our European partners and purchase machines which we need for our factories. Also we visit some company sites with newly installed machines in order to see them in operation before make final purchase decision. Recycling process would be very difficult to accomplish without machines and equipment only by man power and hands. That is why many machines and different equipment are being used in order to make recycling process efficient and quick. In my opinion, due to very strict legislation, recycling as an industry is little forward in European countries thus most modern and new equipment for recycling and separation can be found in Europe especially such countries as Germany, Switzerland where land fields are prohibited and that is why they have to do recycling as much as possible. Except to find and to deliver machine here to Japan, one of my work is to make machine running together with maker and Japanese technical staff. It is nice feeling when machine is running and people around are happy to use it and do their job. There are moments when this equipment is getting broken and it is also important to help Japanese technician in communication with European partners and make machine running again. Once machine is back to work after some time of hard work and repair it is nice to see it running. Personally myself I like watching machines running and doing some hard job which is not possible to do by human hands. As we try to buy advanced equipment from far away, one of the challenges is that if machine does not work properly it is quiet big risk as there are no special trained staff or engineers around. So I think one of my biggest responsibilities and most difficult part is to make sure that machines are running always. In case if problems occurs I need to make sure that Japanese technicians know how to handle the problem and to make this idle stoppage time for machine as less as possible and in such a way to improve company efficiency in the recycling process. I think Matec is a company with fast changing environment. In order to be in time with changes you need to be able to manage your time efficiently, be adaptable and be eager to learn and ask questions. It is also important that you can build and maintain relationships with both colleagues and clients. I am looking forward to meeting you here in the company.
